What has been the highlight of your career?

Oh, there are so many. The first time we heard ourselves played back over-dubbed, in the studio. Signing with A&M - major record label, well that just blew us away. I was 22 and Karen was 19. Then, hearing ourselves for the first time actually on the radio. I can’t put it into words. Then to finally get a hit – was like: ‘Wow!’ It was being played on every radio station across the country - it was marvellous. And, of course, winning our first Grammy was a huge thrill. We were still young - I was only 24 and Karen was 21.
